Product Description

Product Overview

Giggly Tails Catnip Spray – 120ml is a convenient cat enrichment spray designed to help make toys, scratching posts, beds and play areas more appealing to cats.

Catnip contains naturally occurring aromatic compounds that may encourage playful, curious or relaxed behaviour in cats that are responsive to catnip. The spray format makes it easier to apply a light mist to selected surfaces without using loose dried catnip.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q What is Catnip Spray used for?

It is used to make toys, scratching posts, beds and other cat areas more interesting to cats that respond to catnip.

Q Does catnip spray calm cats?

Some cats may appear relaxed after catnip exposure, while others become more playful or energetic. The response varies between individual cats.

Q Can it help with anxiety?

Catnip should not be described as a proven treatment for anxiety. It may provide enrichment or temporary behavioural stimulation for some cats, but persistent anxiety should be discussed with a veterinarian.

Q Can I spray it directly on my cat?

It is safer to spray it on appropriate pet surfaces unless the manufacturer specifically states that direct application to the animal is permitted.

Q Can I use it on a scratching post?

Yes. This is one of the most common uses for catnip spray.

Q Can I use it on cat toys?

Yes. Lightly mist suitable cat toys and allow the spray to settle before play.

Q Do all cats react to catnip?

No. Catnip response varies genetically, and some cats show little or no reaction.

Q Can kittens use catnip spray?

Young kittens often show little response to catnip. Use only in small amounts and under supervision.

Q How often should I use it?

Use occasionally as part of enrichment rather than continuously. Frequent exposure may reduce interest temporarily.

Q Is this a medicine?

No. Catnip spray is an enrichment product, not a veterinary medicine.
